Who we are
Australis® Lumber is a subsidiary of Goede, Lang & Co. Ltd., a corporation acting under Brazilian Laws since 1974. Main operations are located in Pomerode, SC, a small city founded 150 years ago by German immigrants that created a legacy in lumber and joinery works.
In 1980 we started our exports and we are growing our overseas sales year by year. In 2008 we reached shipments of 108 TEUS of 40 feet. Main shipments are made to the Caribbean and European countries. Main products are moldings and dressed lumber.
We have facilities with 9,000 square meters under roof and 17,000 square meters for the air drying of the sawn lumber. Equipment
include state of the art molders, rippers and sanders, computer controlled kiln owns, saw mill and auxiliary machinery operated by a staff of more than 100 well trained employees.
